Pennfield Township Recycling Program

The Pennfield Township Board on June 10, 2007 approved the creation of a Pennfield Township Recycling Program.

The program will be held on the 4^th Saturday and Sunday of each month . A recycling bin will be available at the Pennfield Middle School east parking lot (the parking lot located off the cafeteria). The bin will be open to all Pennfield Township residents from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

The bin will be accepting the following items:

Plastics (please rinse)

Glass (clear, green and brown)

Metal cans (please rinse)

Newspapers (newsprint and circulars may be placed in brown paper bags or bundled with fiber twine)

Cardboard (clean corrugated cardboard cut in 4 foot by 4 foot bundles)

The program cannot accept petroleum or paint containers or plate glass, window glass, china or Pyrex products.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the unloading of vehicles. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Pennfield Township Supervisor Rob Behnke at either 968-8549 or rob@pennfieldtwp.com.
