Walmart Project delayed
Apr 26th, 10
Pennfield Township has been notified by a Walmart representative that the proposed Supercenter Store in Pennfield Township has been delayed yet another year.
Citing a "difficult economic climate in the State of Michigan", Walmart officials decided to delay the project another year. Walmart, which owns 30 acres of land directly across from the intersection of Morgan Road and Capital Avenue, NE, has vowed to build the proposed 157,000 square foot Supercenter store in Pennfield Township.
