Township Board approves in-ground pool wood burners in certain areas

The Pennfield Township Board approved Pennfield Charter Township Ordinance #107B-07-09 of 2009 which allows outdoor wood burners in non-platted medium density residential districts (R-2) that have a minimum of 200 feet of property frontage and a minimum of 2 acres of land for the purposes of heating in-ground pools only. The amendment also limits the use from May 1 to October 1 of each year.
