SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 30, 2008
6:30 P.M.
Supervisor Behnke called the Special Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. at the Pennfield High School Auditorium. Present were Supervisor Behnke, Clerk Bammer, Treasurer Phillips and Trustees Bartlett, Bordine-Houseman, Ensign and Newman. There were 11 citizens present.
PUBLIC PRESENTATION:
Supervisor Behnke introduced Mr. John Kazcor of Rehmann Robson to give an overview on the current Water/Sewer Rate Study Report. As presented, the average residential customer connected to both the municipal water and sewer (based upon a consumption of 1,000 cubic feet per month which is typical for an average family household) would see their monthly bill increase from $54.44 per month to $59.58 per month for the first year. Sewer only customers (those customers connected to only to the municipal sewer system) would see their monthly flat fee decrease from $30.44 per month to $29.82 per month the first year. Pennfield Township commercial customers would also see a slight decrease in their readiness to serve charge (RTS). Supervisor Behnke opened the floor for public comment. Four individuals addressed the Board with questions and/or comments.
It was moved and seconded by (Bartlett/Bammer) to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 pm.
