Senior Services administers tax dollars raised through the Senior Millage. The Senior Millage was first approved by voters in 1996 to fill gaps in available services to help seniors solve life’s problems, and promote health, safety and wellness. The Senior Millage raises approximately $2.5 million in each year. It was last renewed in 2010, and will go before voters for approval in 2020.
Senior Services Mission is to enhance, promote, and ensure the availability of needed quality services for Calhoun County seniors through effective and efficient allocation of County Senior Millage resources.
